Donate for Kids

We’re a collection point for children’s items for kids in detention centers: The Riveter is collecting gently used clothing and supplies for kids at all Seattle and Los Angeles locations. We’re working with local organizations to distribute these goods to the families that need it the most. We also encourage you to consider donating your time and money to aid in the reunification efforts. Visit our West Los Angeles and Seattle Capitol Hill locations to donate.

Help Organizers

We’re donating our spaces to help organizers of the June 30 March for Families: In both Los Angeles and Seattle, The Riveter is providing workspace and serving as a community hub for those planning, organizing, and attending the June 30 March for Families in both cities. The Riveter staff is also actively involved in the planning committees.
We're sharing workspace for reunification efforts: Nonprofit organizations dedicated to reuniting families and helping relatives of missing children are welcome to use the resources of The Riveter’s locations in West Los Angeles and Seattle as they search for their kids. We’ll have resources available to scan and share photos, and contact organizations that are leading the charge to put families back together. Please let us know if you’d like to volunteer and help any families who walk through our doors.
We're phone bank locations for anyone who wants to phone bank in groups to contact their elected representatives or organize action. Contact us to volunteer or make calls from one of our workspaces, and learn more about our nationwide phone bank efforts here.
